Thailand: Road to 2013 SEA Games Final

THAILAND UPDATED. The Goal team takes a look at the paths of the remaining four sides and analyse their chances of clinching the coveted Gold medal

Path to Semi-Final
After 2 convincing victories, Thailand chose to gear down and eventually made their way to the semis on the back of uninspired draws. But all four opponents in Group B were hardly a threat for them.

Strength
This squad's spoilt for choice in the attacking department. Thai coach Kiattisak can change his approach to undermine any style of defensive line.

Weakness
Thailand U-23 is lacking in choice in their defense line. Most of the available fullbacks are primarily attack-minded and this could to be a problem.

Chance for Final
Going by his previous record, Kiattisak is not good at changing the game when his team's strategy fails to work as expected. If his plans work out right from the start in the semi-final and final, then the War Elephant could rise back again to reclaim their Gold medal.
