Indonesian U-23 to Strengthen Front Line for SEA Games

INDONESIA UPDATED. Rahmad Darmawan, Indonesian national team U-23 coach said his team is developing to welcome the SEA Games Myanmar that will be held in the coming December. He is yet satisfied with the team’s front line.

"The players are still lacking accuracy and patience in attacking," said Rahmad.

Rahmad will improve the playing tempo of Andik Vermansyah and friends in the given time. However, Rahmad will not put burden on his team with a high target, although many people are expecting the team would win gold medal. "I just want the team to achieve more than what they had at SEA Games 2011."

Indonesia lost to Malaysia in the final of SEA Games 2011 and could only bring home silver medal. On SEA Games history, Indonesia has won gold medals in 1987 and 1991.

The matches of MNC Cup tournament on November 21 to 24 will be the opportunity for the team to try its strategy and the chance for new players to play on the field.
