Kim Swee said that if all the players can focus on the match against Brunei in a Group B match tomorrow, they can do the same success in the next game.
"I am confident that the first winwill give us a positive start to the football campaign," he told Bernama Monday.
He said the second and third matches would be easier if Malaysia were able to collect three points in the match against Brunei Tuesday.
Malaysia are drawn in Group B along with Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei and Laos. Brunei lost 0-7 to Vietnam while Singapore and Laos drew 1-1 in Group B matches Sunday.
