Yangon_Myanmar. The Myanmar football team embraced a brilliant start by giving a 3-0 drubbing to Cambodia at Yangon's Thuwunna Stadium on Saturday evening.
The whole stadium was red and filled with Myanmar supporters wearing the home team's red-color suits.
The Myanmar team came to the pitch with the usual under-23 line- up with the change of a few young faces.
Both teams' coaches are from South Korea and the referee is also a South Korean referee who seems to judge on the two fighting South Korean coaches.
Myanmar's Zaw Min Tun headed the ball from a corner kick into a far-away corner, scoring the first goal home at 16th minute.
Kyaw Ko Ko, Myanmar's outstanding star, headed again between two defenders the ball coming from midfielder Kyi Lin to add the second goal at 34th minute.
At 46th minute, just the start of the second half, Kyaw Ko Ko scored his second, the team's third.
Myanmar will play against Timor Leste and Cambodia will compete with Indonesia on Monday in the second match of the group stage.
