MALAYSIA UPDATED. Eight Kuala Lumpur FA members, including five players
have been suspended for life from playing football after being found
guilty in a match-fixing scandal
According to Datuk Taufik Adul Razak, the president of the disciplinary committee, there will be no tolerance when it comes to match-fixing scandal.
Speaking to the reporters, he said “When we found out that this issue is still going on here in Malaysia, we decided to follow the principal of prevention is better than cure.”
The three officials that got suspended are including head coach Stanislav Lievkosky, assistant team manager Rosdi Omar and Officer Shaari Jani.
Meanwhile the players that are also suspended for life are Jeremy Danker, Khairul Anuar Shafiee, Hafize Roslee, Fadhulah Yunsifar and Phoo Kai Lun.
The FAM has also informed that they cannot make any appeals and the fate of another seven players who have also being charged will know their fate this 27th of December.
