MNC Cup mini tournament which is followed by Indonesia along, Laos, Papua New Guinea, and the Maldives, as a preparation for the SEA Games event which will be held in December.
Interviewed shortly after leading the afternoon prayer in Masjid Al Bina Senayan PSSI chairman , Djohar Arifin revealed that MNC Cup event as a venue for evaluating deficiencies U- 23 before leaving for Myanmar, because PSSI targeting a gold medal from the sport of football at the event.
"The event is just to look for flaws U- 23 and determine the best composition in the main squad, if God willing we champion a champion in MNC Cup event , but we are more focused to the target gold in the SEA Games, " said Djohar.
